A red veil

I watch as the last summer sunset dives into autumn.

I sit by an old, long forsaken boat.

The sea embraces the shore,
the undertow resounds with her voice,
and saltiness is a reminder of the scent of her body.

Slowly, I write her name in the sand, and the wind begins to blow.

From the boat a red veil flies away, recovering its Freedom.

I look up to the sky, I can see it floating in the air, heading to a cloud filled horizon.

I’m not worried, I shall wait, and smiling there I’ll stay.

She is near now, I welcome her return, ready to bathe in her Passion and to dry myself off with her Love.

Just like autumn welcomes the summer Warmth.
